Hamwic Education Trust very much welcomes support from within our community. Volunteering in one of our schools is available to all; you do not have to have a child at one of our schools and you can offer whatever amount of time suits you best. There are a variety of opportunities available, and you can get involved in the following ways:

• Help with after-school clubs
• Mentoring pupils
• Reading with our children
• Supporting the PTA by helping to organise activities

You can find out more about volunteering by contacting our schools directly. All volunteers will be expected to undertake a DBS check.

Become a Governor

At Hamwic Education Trust, our governors work closely with our schools to support the Trust’s vision, ethos and values ensuring that our pupils are equipped with the skills and experience they need to achieve their full potential.
