History is a passionate and enthusiastic department, committed to bringing history to life for all students. We place a strong emphasis on making meaningful connections between local history and world events, enabling students to see the relevance of the past in their own communities. Our curriculum is enriched through a range of experiences, including a popular Battlefields trip and visits to local sites such as Portchester Castle.
