This weekend students from Years 9 & 10 successfully completed their Assessed Expedition for their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, assisted by staff and our Year 11 young leaders.

Students navigated two days of challenging routes, which they planned themselves, while completing a filming project. Remaining self-sufficient (carrying all their own equipment and resources!) over the whole weekend, they cooked themselves hot meals, camped overnight in tents, and kept each other’s spirits up to arrive at the finish line right on time!

Showing resilience and determination throughout the weekend whilst developing life-long Independence skills. A memorable weekend for all, demonstrating the school values of aspire, believe and achieve! Well done to all students who participated and to Mr Robertson and Mrs Smart for organising.
